Silvanols plans to increase production capacity up to 4 times in 2020
At the end of 2019, Silvanols celebrated its 25th anniversary by installing a new packaging line, thus standardising processes and increasing production capacity.
After careful evaluation of process audits, last year saw the investment of EUR 120,000 in several machines in order to further raise efficiency and productivity.
Work environment improvements were done and previously manual work was automated on spray and syrup lines.
Head of the Production Department and Member of the Board Jevgeņijs Zainapovs comments: “If we were able to pack 1.5 million boxes a year up until now, then today we can pack up to 6.5 million boxes per year.”
Optimising production processes will allow us to become even more flexible and competitive not only in the domestic market – It will also open the door to large export markets where product volume is key.
This year, plans have been made to invest in the optimisation of solid-form production and the increasing of production efficiency.
